Welcome 2019

Hello 2019

My new year resolution is to scrap more pages with me in them.

My first page  this year is about my word this year. Lugn in Swedish and in English it is calm.

I found a great sketch here:

I really like their sketches.

And the challenges at Challenge yourself is what my new year resolution is all about!❤

You can find it here:

The sketch from Let’s get sketchy.

I have written on the tag about the word I will work with in 2019. The photo of me is from 2017 on my son’s graduation and I was calm even if we had over 70 guests, I would like to have that calmness and happiness a lot more. And the photo of the flowers (I do not know the name in English) makes me really calm. They are my favorite flowers!

Christmas tree tutorial

Hi

I was asked to do a tutorial on this page that I made last week.

1. Start by doing the shape that you want. I made my tree with three papers. Last year I did a heart shape. You can find it here: https://rundbys.wordpress.com/2017/07/25/tacksam-3/

3. Make sure your stencil is where you want it on your paper.

4. Start to stamp, I start with a large stamp at the bottom.

5. Then I continue with smaller stamps, making sure I stamp almost everywhere.

6. On this one I decided  to colour it with my watercolor pens, instead of using red ink to stamp with, as I did with last page I did.

7. Remove your stencil.

8. Stamp the tree trunk.

9. Cut it. I didn’t do that on the last one.

10. I draw a black line on all the edges to make it stand out on the page.

11. And day 24 is prepared. I made a white spot to put a photo on or some journaling I haven’t decided on it yet.

I hope you liked the tutorial.

Merry Christmas!

Hi

I found a great sketch at Let’s get sketchy. I used papers and embellishments from Studio Calico.

Every year I take a picture of all the cousins together. My journaling is about how hard it is to get everyone together now when they are older.

You can find the sketch here: http://letsgetsketchy.blogspot.com/2018/10/october-1-challenge.html?m=1
